Another acoustic gig for you! This time John Ruscoe and I are heading back to our old and much-beloved stomping ground of Ippo Rock City to play some tunes in the acoustic style. We’ll be joined by Reado from Big Ray on percussion & vocals and Rich Matthews (former guitarist with K-Line) who’ll be adding some bass textures to the odd song or three.
More important than all of that is the fact that Duncan Redmonds (Snuff, Billy No Mates & a million others bands) is headlining the evening. If you’ve not seen Duncan play his acoustic set before you’re in for a treat because the hits just keep on coming. Before we get to all of the above, the very attractive & talented Clive Watling (formerly of Elmerhassel & They Fight Crime) will be kicking things off in fine style.
The venue is Ronnie’s Bar in PJ McGinty & Sons pub in Ipswich. Doors will be open at 8PM and it’s £3 to get in. The date is Friday 22nd May. Stick it in diaries because this is one not to miss.

This clip featuring about 80% of “Shivers” was filmed by Micha. Thanks to him for posting it on YouTube. Best way to view the clip is to select the “HQ” option from the ‘up arrow’ in the bottom right hand corner once the clip has started playing.

Here’s the flyer for the gig that John & I are playing on Saturday. Apparently we’re due on at 8PM. Hope you can make it.

Happy New Year, everyone. It’s been ages since I updated this blog, which is irritating seeing as how I have so much old stuff waiting to post and some new stuff hovering almost ready to take off too. Anyway, first gig of 2009 is an acoustic affair with the bloody marvellous John Ruscoe accompanying me on lead guitar and BVs. Deatils to be confirmed, but here’s what I received from Rich so far:
Will add more details incl flyer in the next few days. Do try and make it along. It’s so central there’s no excuse to miss it if you’re a Londoner and it could been a cheap night out if you get there early. Not sure what time we’ll be playing as yet. Venue is tiny apparently so no worries about it being embarrassingly empty. Hurrah!
