Most of this site is backward-looking. This is not something I’m proud of, it’s entirely due to the fact that my musical output has slowed down since K-Line split up and my daughter, Amy was born. There’s more music in my past than there is in my present. Also, I’m spending more and more of my precious ‘non-family/non-work’ time on my photography and less of it on music. BUT, I do still have one iron in the fire, namely You Disgust Me. Initially the hope was that this band would take over from K-Line, but in the event the loss of two drummers in succession put paid to any swift taking-up of the reigns. We did however, find time to record 7 songs before the last drummer, James (from K-Line), departed in mysterious cirumstances and Roop and I have finally finished all of the recording and have got some proper mixes together. I’ll post all 7 songs in one slab right here when we’re done (shouldn’t be more than a couple of weeks), but for now, here’s the best of the first lot.

Just so that you don’t all get the impression that Old Man Shred has hung up his strumming fingers for good, I thought I’d post a couple of tracks from the current band,You Disgust Me. Actually, it’s more of a project now that we’ve been drummerless for 12 months, but I live in hope that one day we’ll play a gig somewhere. Any drummers please get in touch. We’ve had a serious problem getting these tracks finished….it’s almost a year from when we started, but we’re now one session away from being able to get them mixed.

Here are a couple of tasters for you. They’re unmixed and unfinished, but you’ll get the idea I’m sure. The first one is by us, the second is a cover of one of the best 7″s ever released My Pal by Aussie band, God.
