Interesting. I didn’t think we had played this anywhere else, but I’m not going to argue with an intellect as huge as yours (missus). I quite like Al Green’s version of The Letter…mcuh, much better than his shonky version of Light My Fire.

Actually, it wasn’t the only time you played “The Letter”. I definitely saw you play this somewhere (it was the first time I had heard the song and I remember wondering what it was). Don’t remember where, but I wasn’t in Germany… Was working on my A-levels that January! Al Green does an awesome version of “The Letter” btw…

Love this LP,the demo and the Peel stuff, although I was and am still into all the various styles of crusty/harsh punk, stuff like bad Dress Sense, Depraved, Bad Beach, Dan etc. ( i.e. TUNES!) were/are great good times music…
